Awesome tool!! Surpassed my expectations!!

Surpassed my expectations. This is a very nice tool!! I have used many carbide turning/facing tools and this one doesn't take a back seat. It is well made. The Insert screw seems to be of better quality than many I have seen from overseas. The tool with this insert works really well on aluminum that I have turned. Rigid enough that there is no chatter even when plunging enough to make deep grooves in some 1' 6061. And it leaves a very nice finish for facing or a finish pass on turning. I have not turned any steel on it yet, but have no doubt that it will perform as well as any of the carbide tooling that I have used t date. I am happy with the 10 included inserts. One thing to notes that it is 16mm square tool and will not mount in a regular AXA QC tool holder. It will mount in the XL versions of the AXA holders. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy again.

Best Wire Cutters........period!!

These are the best wire cutters I've ever owned. I bought my 1st pair a little hesitant and after 1st use immediately knew I was putting a pair in every tool box I have. They are sharp, cut flush and easy to get into tight places. They are always the ones I reach for 1st.........and last!!

1.5" Replacement Soft Rubber Hard Plastic Striking Head Tip For Soft Face Hammer

Great quality but not the size I was expecting.

First I gotta say that these hammer heads appear to be well made of good quality material. The centre thread size is 14 x 1.75 mm and is well mounted in the head. The recess is just over 29mm in diameter and is 4.1mm deep giving the head a sturdy shoulder to take the force of the hammer blows and not relying on the centre stud. The negative that I find is that this head is a not 1.5" in diameter anywhere. The head is tapered and goes from 1.75" at the base to 1.58" at the striking surface. I purchased these to use in making my own hammers using 1.5" material for the head and am not happy that the description is not accurate. Nowhere on the packaging material does it state that this is a 1.5" head. The description does state that it is a replacement head for a specific hammer made by Great Neck, but Great Neck no longer makes that hammer and specs are very hard to come by. I am hoping to be able to turn down the rubber and nylon to match my material on hand for the making of hammers am not sure how well this will work and may have to purchase other material to build these hammers. Overall, if you know what you are getting, this would be a great purchase. But expecting a 1.5" head will leave you disappointed.
