I would not recommend

The boots are not good for women with normal/high instep.

These shearling-lined boots are of very good quality. However, you must buy a shearling insole suitable for the boots elsewhere. These boots are good for lower instep. I have a high arch and a normal instep. I couldn't get these boots on at all so I returned them. For the return, I have to pay almost $20, considering that I paid 74.19. I would not recommend buying these boots.
