XBL Gold is worth it but mostly as a gateway for upgrading to Xbox Game Pass.
1 of 1 found this helpful Stack up to 36 months worth of Xbox Live Gold before upgrading to Xbox Game Pass to get a super discount on game pass. Alone XBL Gold subscription is worth it for online gaming and access to Games for Gold deals (free games and discounts), not a good deal if you only play offline games though if you upgrade for a bit more a month the Xbox Game Pass subscription is becoming a subscription service that's hard to ignore, especially if you have a family with kids and diverse gaming interests.
