Everything But the Size
2 of 3 found this helpful Nice watch. Good value. However, it would be more accurate to call it a young boy's watch. It's too small (both the dial size and the band length) to be considered a man's watch.

Loud, Open-Sounding Mandolin!
This a great, open-sounding mandolin! I chose this particular model due to the lack of tone bars. I think this design characteristic is one of the main reasons behind the wonderful tonal qualities. My particular specimen has an extremely tight-grained (some ribboning) spruce top and nicely flamed maple back and sides. I would rate the build quality as an A+. The sunburst is nicely done, but the finish is a little thick. So I would say about a B- on the finish. The inlays are nicely done, however, the binding work is a little sloppy. I would rate the binding work as a C-. That being said, the sound quality of this mandolin far outweighs any cosmetic shortcomings. As always, a good setup will bring out the best in any instrument.
