Decent kit for the price, but lacking some small important details.
If you've determined your dryer bearing needs replaced, and you've searched ebay by part number chances are you found this kit. This kit does indeed contain the bearing you need as well as an assortment of other relevant parts. Most likely you only need the bearing though. It's a shame nobody just sells that piece individually. Nonetheless this kit is not, in my opinion, a complete kit for two reasons. The main reason being, it doesn't come with an O-ring! The O-ring is really important because it's what keeps the bearing from sliding off of the shaft and damaging itself again. Most likely if your bearing has failed, so has your O-ring. Secondly, the plate that gets attached to the rear of the dryer comes with screws, but the screw holes in the plate itself are not threaded! I figured this out after I couldn't get any of the screws to start in the plate. So, I just ended up using my original plate. Aside from these issues, everything else in the kit works great. Just don't expect to replace everything smoothly, and make sure to find the correct O-ring for the shaft!
