The TEAC I bought is about 10 years old, but works great. It has an "output" plug on the front, so I've hooked it to my Bose speaker. Works great!
1 of 1 found this helpful It looks turquoise in the picture, but it actually silver with wood-look end panels - very retro and nice looking. The display is bright blue and big, so you can see from a distance what's playing. No remote with this used model, but that's okay with me.

1998 Mercedes E-300 diesel
I bought this car because of the MB diesel longevity (350-500K engines) and reliability. I run it on biodiesel and biodiesel blends (I'm in the biodiesel business), and get 30 mpg overall. The car was in my hometown, so I was able to check it out. It's built for comfort and utility. I've had to replace the driver's side window regulator (common problem with MB's). The windshield fluid reservoir has a leak, the glove box latch broke, and it needs an alignment, but otherwise, it's a great car and I love it.

Il Postino in any language
I’ve seen Il Postino many times - a sweet story worth repeating. But the real reason I bought it this time was to hear the Italian, in preparation for a trip to Italy. Beats me how I missed this when purchasing it, but the subtitles are in Chinese!!! So much for using subtitles as a crutch to understanding the Italian! I find it amusing, really. No regrets.
