Good easy to mix drink/food thickener for those with swallowing difficulties.
I've switched my dad to this from the powdered Nestle NutraThick stuff, which worked fine, but tended to run his blood sugar higher than desired, and caused him some constipation. This stuff is dramatically better as far as mix-ability, he seems to prefer the taste (and drinks more, which is always an issue with him) as well as having better regularity and lower blood sugar numbers. Normal purchase of this from Amazon costs quite a bit more than the other stuff though (about 40% more), but pricing on Ebay when available seems good! Very good product, and worth it if you have a loved one who (or if you yourself) suffer(s) from swallowing difficulty and/or require thickened food and/or beverages!
