Franz Kline in Coal Country *SIGNED* 2019 Rebecca Finsel, Joel Finsel Illus.

    Franz Kline is a favorite!
I'm very excited to have a signed copy of this book in my art book collection. I love the work of Franz Kline. He has been a direct influence on me as an artist. The book just arrived so I haven't read it yet, but just flipping through it, I really like how well illustrated it is with photographs.
Rough Rider RR1797 Stag Bone Brown Hawkbill EDC Folder Folding Pocket Knife

    Obvious Blade Imperfection
I have purchased 4 Rough Rider hawkbill knives in different designs. I was very happy with my first purchase. I use that knife as my everyday carry. Each additional purchase has been more and more disappointing. This knife is the worst yet. It has a strange crimp/crease line across the blade. The defect is visually obvious and you can feel the indention when you rub your fingers across the blade. The snap on this knife is also weaker than on my other hawkbills. The only conclusion I can draw is that quality control does not exist at Rough Rider.

Honestly, had I seen this book in person beforehand, I wouldn't have bought it for $17.00. It's very thin (1/8"), and the quality of the paper (not glossy) and printing feels very low budget. For me, it's the kind of "book" you flip through once and move on. Just browsing all the pics of Bettie on the internet is a better way to go in my opinion.
