Help for 16 year old dog
1 of 1 found this helpful Our 75 lb 16 year old Cattahoula can’t jump anymore and my husband has back double so we decided to give this ramp a try. We have only used it once and even though it wasn’t a smooth walk at first try it was so much better on the dog and my husband. It was easier going down the ramp compared to going up. One hint is to lead your dog to the ramp with their leash and don’t rush. Let them process the situation for a minute before beginning. I’m anxious to see how it goes next time. Also it helps to have someone on each side of the ramp. It’s a learning process. The ramp is made well. A little steeper than I expected but happy we bought it.
