Older RAM

Provided that you know what system you are putting this in, it will work just fine. Arguably, because ddr2 is such an aged memory standard, I'm inclined to guess that anyone purchasing one of these already knows everything they need to know about it. That being, it's worth mentioning that , like other memory, if you are getting this 533 mhz RAM for a system that has a processor that accepts memory clocked at 400mhz, RAM will lower it's clockspeed to the one set by the CPU's memory controller.

Pleased with the Motherboard

Considering this particular motherboard is a replacement for a particular type of laptop, the only real thing that can be said about it is that it is what it is supposed to be. The socket for this board doesn't permit very much in terms of CPU upgrades, but if a person is looking to give a bit more performance to an aging laptop, they can easily search for the compatible CPU's their motherboard socket supports.
