RIDGID 32078 Quick Acting Tubing Cutter, 9 In. L

No advantage for the money

I bought this cutter to do a bunch of CSST work with Gastite brand FlashShield tubing. This cutter does not cut any better than a standard Ridgid or Lenox cutter does. If you have ever worked with FlashShield you know how much of a pain it is to cut, and in fact the rollers on this cutter make a mess of the jacket on FlashShiled tubing. This cuter does work nicely standard "yellow" CSST, however so does a regular tubing cutter. I would say if you don't own a tubing cutter at all and you only plan to use "yellow" CSST than this is your cutter, but other than that I wouldn't recommend this one.
