with no modification the only thing you have to do is put for washers on the bolt to raise the tank up a little bit and also buy a new cap This is the website arTOHATSU FUEL TANK CAP PART# 309-70020-2 SUPERCEDES TO # 3GP-70020-0. EITHER NUMBER WILL WORK. ALSO FITS NISSAN OUTBOARDS
