There are several reasons why this series lasted 20 years.
2 of 2 found this helpful This lengthy series never seemed to lose its ability to keep you involved through the use of great story scripts, top notch actors and the gritty NYC metro area for filming locations. Even now it is difficult to find streaming services which have the entire series in their libraries. Why not get the dvds and avoid the ongoing wait for the complete series via stream services?

A lot in a little!
This special edition Time/Life magazine works at giving you the stories behind the stories. There are tidbits that I already knew. There were many other details that I hadn't known. Have fun!

The stripes make them easy to find
I have owned several Croakies or Chums over the years. The nature of my work involves carrying service merchandise for customers. As a result I regularly knock my glasses off of my head. These restrainers work extremely well. The cotton varieties are very comfortable to wear. I would caution owners of 100% cotton Chums or Croakies to hand wash them in cold water because they do fade. I would encourage people who only wear reading glasses to buy these restraints as they are very comfortable and you can easily have them on throughout your workday. I heartily endorse Chums and Croakies: I have found both of these brands to offer great quality at an attractive price.
