La Traviata

This production is high-class. It was made on location and the countryside is breathtaking. The performers are first-rate. The addition of English subtitles means you can enjoy the complete story and enjoy the beauty of the opera. The only thing I dislike is that it's the original production on DVD and hasn't been "cleaned up" or "enhanced" visually, so it's not as clear and bright as some of the newer HD DVDs are, remastered. I wouldn't want any quality changed or lost, just the actual picture quality that was originally broadcast on television to be clarified. I bought this item because I had it on VHS originally and wanted it on DVD for a longer-lasting version. It's a DVD that's called a "keeper."

Nice item for a tubophile. Nice glow. Unique.

Item is made as an original from what I understand is a real tube. It's a Xmas gift, so I don't know how it lasts or if it heats up. I plugged it in, and it has a nice glow. This is a gift for someone who has a hobby of tube radios. It arrived quickly and in a small secure box.
