The box was not damaged nor did it appear to have been opened during the mailing process. When I opened the box, the contents (small Waterford clock) had been placed in the box and was not packed very well. Luckily, nothing was broken. The clock mechanism, which had no rubber gasket, was outside the glass and that was what was rattling inside the box. Not very happy with this purchase.
