Everyone who cooks needs one of these
The attributes of cast iron can't be overstated. I have blue accents in my kitchen, and wanted a 'casserole' type pot, so I ordered this. The price was downright cheap!--and this is a great quality braiser. Lodge makes an excellent alternative to the price and quality of Le Creuset. Searing is easy, cooking in it renders tender meat and great flavors. The enamel coating means you can cook anything in it--unlike raw cast iron, where you have to avoid acidic ingredients like tomatoes. With a little care, this will last for the rest of my life.

Will challenge and enrich anyone's curiosity of the human brain
I have been keenly interested in brain research for over a decade now. I am an educator and a musician, and it is gratifying to find scientific studies that support and encourage people who are creative and spiritual. The concept of the right brain being the master, and the left brain being his emissary, is exceptionally well documented and supported by the author. This is something of an expose on how western European culture has come to the level that it has (materialism, pop-culture, loss of community dominating the North American lifestyle ); from my observations of students as well as in my own personal life, this book makes enormous sense. I strongly encourage anyone with an interest in the arts, the workings of the brain, and expanding their horizons, to read this work.

Perfect for what I needed!
Cute little bench, and very good quality for the price. The color matches my butcher block countertops and really enhances my mid century kitchen.
