STECK GM Car and Light Truck Door Spring Remover Tool 21910 MADE IN USA!!

Blazer owners:

If you're using this on a Blazer, you may need to hammer it in with a rubber hammer. Also go in from the bottom of the spring and hold it there (so that the tool is sticking up). You will know when it's secure as it will pop right into the spring rather firmly. Hope this helps; I replaced the other door's pins and bushing with a crowbar and zip-ties, and I can confidently say this tool is TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY.

Bright, cheap, and they fit!

PROS: VERY BRIGHT! I actually have to turn down the brightness on the instrument panel when driving for long periods of time, which leads to next pro... Adjustable brightness! All six lights worked! Price! They also fit as foot well lights (i ordered more because of that) CONS: Installation and compatibility Potential resistor issue? DETAILS: These things are amazing! They breathe new life into the instrument panel of my 2000 Chevy Blazer LS. The panel had six sockets with T10 lights. Only issue is they don't come with the wedge sockets needed for chevy instrument panel lights, so I had to retrofit the led bulbs in the existing sockets, destroying the original bulbs in the process :( you have to save the metal contacts and they soldered onto the original lights, so I had to snap the connection off, then manipulate the connections to fit on the printed circuit board properly again. This issue, plus the process of taking the entire lower dash valence apart to get to the panel, made the installation about a two hour process total. You have to have a little passion and patience to do this. Don't expect a cakewalk! They are totally worth the messing around!

Removing old is tough, installing new is EZ

Taking the old one off was really tough, especially with limited tools. You have to take the plastic bumper trim off as well, but if you're careful it should be reusable. But the new one snapped right on with no issues. One thing to note: there are two plastic push pins on either side that will likely snap off due to old age. You can either replace them with nut, bolt and washer, or just buy some new ones online. I suggest just going with the first option. I had to sand a couple scuff marks from shipping and paint over it with flat black trim spray. I also removed the tow hooks and redid them, bolting them on AFTER. If you leave the hooks on they drag on the plastic and scratch it. it snapped back on quite easily. Do note that you will have to drill some pilot holes for the front license plate, they are not pre-drilled. Hope this helped someone, happy tinkering!
