Sturdy, but you do pay for the brand
Great packaging. It’s the correct part type and with a bit of a wiggle without a pull it was doable to install it myself. I can see how many would mess it up going for their screwdriver to insert the rubber ring. You really just want to use your fingers to protect the rubber ring and the electronics. It’s a perfect fit. My camera lens is in prime condition again.
It’s not necessarily the fault of the people selling this via eBay, but paying this much for a rubber ring is a bit strange. Nonetheless I suspect that the unbranded replacement rings sold for relative cheap on Amazon are probably made from some kind of flimsy rubber that tears easily. My old rubber ring was clearly torn on purpose. This ring is really sturdy.
This is the most affordable reseller I could find.
