This handle failed just after 1 month. The plastic push piece that operates the lock release is weak, bends and hangs up.
This handle failed just after 1 month. The plastic push piece that operates the lock release is weak, bends and hangs up without pushing the lock mechanism far enough to release the tail gate.
My advise is don't waste your time with Dorman's aftermarket tailgate handle. Cry now, pay the price and get the OE handle so you don't have to replace it and replace it and replace it,,,,.
