Amazing
3 of 3 found this helpful These watercolor pencils are amazing! They have a smooth feel to them, and not waxy whatsoever! So they feel like just a regular colored pencil but with twice the productivity; colored pencil and watercolors! When you apply the dry pencil onto wet paper, it glides like butter and is very pigmented! My only complaint is that they do wear off a bit if you apply a lot of pressure with your brush, but that has happened rarely, and still works fine! I highly recommend these

Perfect!
This set is the perfect set for beginners wanting to branch off to more variety and to those with lots of experience as well. It has a variety of pens and all a nice true black. They dry very fast and work great with other inks, even colored pigments like acrylic, watercolors or colored india inks!

Watercolor paint experience
PROS | Bristles are very good quality, spread beautiful when you apply pressure onto them, always moist, need very little force to get water extracted, easy to clean even when switching between colors, easy to distinguish sizes by looking at the colors, comes with three round brushes, affordable so great for students, kids, anyone on a budget or just wanting to try new brushes!
CONS | There is very small leakage sometimes, sometimes bristles are too wet even with no pressure or little pressure (all due to the thin pressure barrel), bristles cap comes of easily, have to be careful when travelling as they do leak a bit
TIPS | Do not worry about the first impressions of the bristles, they are very hard, but it is the adhesive they put on the bristles to keep them in tact! A quick wash, even with light soap should do the job. Wrap brushes in small cloth or thick napkin if using for travel!
Overall these brushes have worked great for my watercolor piece, like mentioned sometimes too much water comes out. Genuinely, these are my first water brushes and I knew they were not going to be top notch, BUT for the price, I would still recommend!
