IDF40 manufacturing defects
Machine work is good but the castings have insufficient material resulting in holes in critical flow of fuel from main jets. This makes these Weber copies completely useless and detrimental to engine life that might burn pistons! Enclosed pics comparing to original Italian made carb.
Acceleration pump linkage has tapered rod which looses thread and can’t be adjusted.

Not stainless
Product does not appear to be stainless but rather has a plated surface. It was checked with a magnet and was pulled to the magnet indicating it is not stainless steel.
