So you're thinking about getting a X-Box 360

Core
You shouldn't really ever need to buy the core. Yes it is $100 cheaper but the memory card is $40 dollars which you will need since the core doesnt come with a hard drive. So the difference is really only $60 from Core to Premium.
Premium
The advantages of getting a Premium are more than enough reason to purchase it over the Core. For example in the Premium you get a wireless controller instead of a wired one, a chrome DVD-Drive covering instead of the normal white plastic, and the hard drive.
Over the experience with the X-Box 360 has been great and many upcoming titles promise a exciting future. Microsoft has said there will be 150-200 games for the X-Box 360 by 2007 which means a large variety for a gamer of any genre. If you do get a malfunctioning X-Box 360, the support call is extremely easy to call and get a repair or if necessary a replacement. From personal experience I can't stress the excellence of the support for the X-Box 360.
Overall the X-Box 360 is a great experience and I recomend it.
