Gentian Violet topical solution
Good antiseptic to keep in the first aid box, an old fashioned solution that actually works! Can be messy but on the plus side it works and children feel that you have done something as they can see the purple. I wish that I could still buy this locally. I will definately purchase again

Mary learns to Dance
This children's book is about a young girls dream of becoming a ballerina, it offers a realistic picture of learning to dance and contains beautiful, timeless pictures. I remembered the pictures from when I was a little girl even though I had not seen the book for fifteen years. I was very happy to find a copy for my little dancer.
