The right drive for the best price

I bought a WDTV Live Hub refurb. They come w/o the drive. This is the drive that belongs in them. I'm told only a WD Scorpio Blue will work in the WDTV. And it works great!I've always had good luck with WD drives.

TV the way it was meant to be..AZBOX HD Ultra from OPENSAT

This has to be the best Satellite receiver/ media player on the market today. Drop in a 1tb DVR HDD and it's complete. With as much FTA satellite as is out there, I'm cancelling my DBS satellite service and going for no monthly bill. This plays it all. From HD satellite to You Tube videos on the web. I've stored all my DVDs on a network storage drive and I have instant access through the AZBOX. I can show photos to my guests and my favorite home movies too. I really like this box. Satellite capabilities? it does it all. Multiple DiSEqC protocals allow unlimited antennae combinations. No need for a special setup for that special satellite signal. The only drawback is the lack of an ATSC tuner. But then there is one in the TV that never gets used if I want it. The best part is my wife can use it. It works the way she thinks it should. It is not complicated to use once the setup is complete. I was going to build an HTPC to replace the DBS service but the AZBOX made it way easier for my wife. Two Thumbs UP for the folks at OPENSAT.

Best Media Player I've tried

A great media player. Does everything I want it to. And I can control it thru my SlingBox. I bought a Factory Refurb. Very cheap :). But it has no HDD. It will only work with a WD Scorpio Blue Drive. The drive is needed for Auto Updates. Without you have to do manual updates with a USB flash drive. I have 8TB of media on my LAN Storage devices. A bit too much for the built in Media Manager. But I can manually navigate and play any file I have. The list of IP services that are offered keeps growing. I Love this box :) I deduct 1 star for the internal Media Manager
