Boiled Linseed Oil
This stuff works great! I bought an old Winchester 37 that had most of the finish missing. I used steel wool to remove the remainder, steamed out the dents and applied this Boiled Linseed Oil directly to the wood with no stain. It darkened the wood to the same color as the original 37"s had and looks and works great. I much easier to apply than Tru-Oil. I put 4 coats of the Linseed Oil and one coat of Tru-Oil and the stock looks great. I couldn't be happier with this product.
