This is the Shortwave Bible
The ultimate reference for people interested in using, collecting, buying, selling, and repairing shortwave receivers. I have used the red 2nd edition for 20 years and always kept it at my hamfest flea market booth to help answer questions...many times I had spontaneous offers to buy it. The lists of tube complements alone are worth the price. Now, with the greatly expanded 4th edition, the red book will find a new home. This 4th edition has greatly expanded coverage of British, industrial, and other uncommon receivers. Jerry Svoboda/KB2QIU

Excellent vascular atlas; wisdom from a master
This vascular surgery atlas was my bible during my first 10 years of practice (1980s). Lots of the material is still useful for today's trainees & practitioners to review; Dr. Cooley has signed my copy. Excellent artwork. Desiderata sections are worth reading and incorporating into practice. Extremely practical & lots of help for the general or vascular surgeon finding him/herself away from endovascular help & equipment, in an austere practice envirnoment, or on unfamiliar ground.
