One of My Daughter's Favorites
2 of 2 found this helpful My sister has one of these doll houses at her home. Her child attended a Waldorf school so my niece only had "non-media," toys. Her daughter is in high school now but my sister keeps this out, as a decorative piece, in her home. My daughter has "media toys," (a Fisher Price doll house, and a Barbie Dream house). I noticed that every time that I went to my sister's house, my daughter would play with this dollhouse for hours. I loved the portability of this dollhouse, and thought that it would be something that could be used for grandchildren, (in addition to my five-year-old daughter, I have a 25, and a 22 year old son), and eventually to be handed down as an heirloom. My daughter plays with the wooden dollhouse just as much as her other playhouses, and Barbie, Ken, and the Fisher Price family, interact with the wooden Melissa and Doug dolls. :) I am glad that I made this purchase.
