cotton twine
Too thin for the intended purpose, butchers twine, it was OK for utility string. It was made in China, so i don't know if it is food safe?

Recoil starter
It was for my power washer. I got it installed with a little trouble. I had to buy longer bolts and then shim it away from the engine body to get it to retract. It is cheaply made, but it was far less expensive the OME. If you use it a lot you should buy the manufacture's replacement.
