Easy and Simple
4 of 4 found this helpful Had an earlier version that went Skagway, This replacement has more features and works out of the box, didn't event have to call Verizon to set it up, just moved over the old Sim card.

It All Depends
It wasn't until I received the G2 that I discovered that it wouldn't work with the Dish Hopper and Joey, that I was looking forward to. It also takes both coax to the receiver to have record/watch capabilities. I bought it with the intention of mounting it on the MH roof to replace the King Dome that is becoming obsolete this spring. Now, since three cables must snake down inside the roof instead of one (takes a 12v power line, and two coax) I'm not sure I won't just haul it mobile. If you're interested in the Hopper, and don't wish to mount it permanently, the "Traveller" will be a better option. I've had the G2 a month, and still trying to figure out the DVR/G2 interaction. It's so much better than having the VHS/DVD player, so I'm pretty happy.

Good and solid, but heavy
This rack is very solid. I got the 2" model and am really impressed. You can buy up to 3 additional add-on racks for a total carry of 4 bikes. This was suggested as a good carrier if you need to haul it behind a motorhome or behind a motorhome tow car because of the strange stresses on the bikes that is not there on ordinary auto carrying. There is a drop down mechanism to allow access to a hatch if necessary. Assembly was easy, no extra parts without even looking at the instructions! The upright bar can be for the front tire and frame, or positioned to hook under the seat and frame. The unit is pretty heavy though, and now I've got to buy and add the second bike carrier for it. Easy on and off the rack. Couldn't be happier with the product.
