Great and interesting way of learning a new language
Bought this to learn a bit of Arabic before going to Morocco, but found that most of the people we travelled with spoke Berber... The CDs are addictive so I'm carrying on with them anyway. I can already recognise words in some Arabic songs so it seems to be working......
Listen to Mahmoud for the accent and ignore Jane's strange takes on 'anna' and 'tomorrow', but otherwise the method of learning is very user-friendly. So much so that I bought the French Foundation Course for my wife: she also finds it a great way to learn.
It might not be for everybody, but it certainly works for us.

This book has changed the way I look at the world....
Very easy to read, with fascinating insights about the social life of forests and the effects of human impact on the natural world, backed up by scientific research (in the background, so it is not dry reading).
Very relevant now, as climate change and de-forestation is starting to effect us all....

Not just biker rock...
Mostly live tracks that do manage to capture the energy of one of the best seventies rock bands. The couple of studio tracks that pop up (with added applause 😁) point to the more lyrical side of Steppenwolf; I'm a sucker for loud & lyrical so this CD fits the bill nicely.
The three major hits are all there but it's the less well-known ones that have me singing along in the car at full volume....
Steppenwolf have tended to be overlooked and recognised only for the best bits of the Easy Rider biker soundtrack and nothing else, but there are sublime tracks on all their early albums that are worth seeking out. But Steppenwolf fans know this.
Even having most of these tracks on studio albums I am still loving these live versions - should have bought this CD years ago.
