Excellent for really thorough cleansing
1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for a thorough cleanser that behaves like an oil cleanser, but was easy to take off, and this definitely does the job.
I use waterproof makeup, plus I like to ensure that my SPF50 sunblock is completely removed, but I hate the gluggy feeling of oils dribbling down my face and neck... as well as the need to use a water wash-off cleanser to eliminate the layer of oil after wiping off.
This still leaves a very, very light film of oil-like substance, but that would serve as a base layer moisturiser for those with normal or dry skin. I'm combo to oily, so I still like to swipe off any residue with micellar water before I moisturise, but that's a personal preference.
I'm only taking off one star because it takes a couple of applications to remove heavy duty waterproof mascara. I don't like taking that much time or tugging on the eye area, so a bi-phase eye makeup remover is my preference. Still, it doesn't sting my eyes, so if you're happy with using oils to remove eye makeup, this will work as an all-in-one for you.
