A $30 memory upgrade from 2GB to 4GB.
I bought 4 1G memory sticks to increase the system ram on one of my computers from 2GB(it had 4 512KB mem sticks) to 4GB(with 4 1GB sticks), as I wanted to compare 3 different computers to see which unit would handle Win7 the best. They all had WinXP Pro, but when Microsoft stopped supporting XP, I had to make a choice - upgrade, or buy a new computer. The computer on which I upgraded the ram had previously come with Win7, but I had bounced it back to XP because at one time I wanted all 3 units running the same OS. Now I only needed 1 unit, so I decided to try my Win7 OS on all 3 computers and permanently install it on the fastest one. With the full 4 GB of ram though, it turned out that this upgraded unit indeed was better than the other 2. So for $30 I got a decent unit running an OS(WIN7) that's still supported, which for me beats buying a new computer just because MS said I should. The ram came promptly, properly packaged(IMHO), appeared to be new, and has worked flawlessly. Would I do this again? Yes, in a heartbeat!

Add bluetooth to your PC
The good: It works on both Win10 and Win11. The bad: Nothing bad really, it's just not as powerful as the embedded bluetooth in my TV or TSR-700 receiver. Stay within 50 feet and direct line of sight and it works perfectly. Walk into another room or step behind an obstruction and it'll start cutting out.

Quality ram that works right the first time.
Cons: Slightly more expensive than generic ram.
Pros: 1) Each ram stick is serialized - a nice touch if this is important to you.
Pros: 2) Of the 4 each 8GB ram modules I have purchased, in 2 separate orders, all have operated flawlessly at the rated speed. This leads me to believe the quality of parts that make up these memory modules is possibly better than that of some of their generic competitors. Purchasing this, what is in my opinion a better quality product, saves the hassle of having to take pictures of a defective product, waiting for authorization to return it, packaging it up, going to the post office to send it back, and then having to wait for a refund.
