Better than an ordinary d4, but too big
I bought this die without realizing how large it is. It dwarfs the rest of my dice in size. For this reason I don't roll this die with my other dice, because I find the size difference uncomfortable.
If I just have to roll a d4 -- and I do, often -- I roll this die. I find it much easier to roll than an ordinary d4 (even if it doesn't always give me the result I want :-).
So, this is a good die if you are just rolling d4s. If you're rolling other dice alongside it, it doesn't work so well.
