Hang in there and allow the leather to soften!
Initially on receiving this product I was dubious about its usefulness as my iPhone was very hard to insert and retrieve. I had delegated it for use as my “glasses” case. However after some use as an eyeglass case it had softened and stretched somewhat and is much more pliable and useable as intended … for a phone protection case. I have only used it for a few days since but expect it will mold and soften even more with use.
