"Mist" is not the right word' it's not like misters at outdoor restaurants
6 of 8 found this helpful It does what it says with one HUGE caveat: it is not a "mister". It does not emit "mist". It has a fine spray of water which will get you wet, and will make the ground beneath it wet.
The problem is the spray valves just aren't small enough to make it a mist (and maybe the pump isn't powerful enough to pressurize the water into a mist.) There are no replacement valves and no way to fine tune them.
So if you're out by the pool, you can aim this thing at you and it helps cool you down a lot. But if you are dressed, sitting at a table, you and everything will get wet. That's a bummer.
Also, doesn't work well in the wind... the spray goes everywhere.
So it may or may not work for you. It's not like misters outside at restaurants. Not at all. Be advised.
