Needed a can opener to use with rotator cuff surgery and Toucan for me works as it says. I put Duracell Procell batteries in it and put it on dog food cans that I needed opened and around it went and smoothly by itself. Stop lid on magnet and done. With the other reviews I'm hoping it lasts at least through my recovery. I never have a prob w/ Duracell Procell in my electronics etc. Batteries make a difference.
