About
I run a commercial audio/video production company. If I behave dishonestly it affects my business. I have stayed in business for over 30 years by treating people fairly. I hide behind nothing.

You need this mount if you have one of the Sony projectors it's designed for.
The "universal" ceiling mount I purchased first might work for projectors with mounting points above the center of gravity, but t Sony VPL-PHZ10 has offset mounting points that were too far apart to use the universal mount, and the uneven weight distribution cause the projector to tilt unless all adjustments were tightened to the point of almost breaking. This works perfectly. It is by far the simplest straightforward mount I have ever used. Sometimes it pays to get the right thing the first time.

Meets the minimum requirements I ask of it
My OEM 5770 in my 2010 Mac Pro died after a decade of heavy use. I use it to run 3 HD monitors in a post production audio studio (two pro tools monitors plus projectors in both the control room and ADR booth- they share the same split signal). Because of my Pro Tools HDX PCIE card I don't have enough convenient power ports to use a video card that requires more than one. This card does it just fine. I did need to adapt the outputs to use HDMI cables, but that's not a problem. I don't use it for gaming or video editing, so I don't ask a lot from it. It's the minimum necessary to do what I do and it's sufficient.

Built like a tank, sounds like a million bucks.
Phenomenal sounding, very flexible amplifier. Currently running it as stereo 1200 WPC amplifier for a center channel JBL M2 loudspeaker. I was driving the speaker with half that power previously and the extra headroom this amp provides is amazing. The fan is thermally operated and almost never comes on. When it does, you're listening so loud that it's not an issue. It's in a quiet box nevertheless, but the fan has not been a problem.
