Still a little pricey, although cheaper than many others, but exceptionally robust, easy to read scale and outstanding quality.

The Poor Man's 'Anglepoise'.
2 of 2 found this helpful It's cheap and cheaply made; the electrical cable isn't long enough for my liking (could do with an extra metre) - but hey, what did I expect for £20.00? On the plus side, at THAT PRICE I'd have to say the build quality is none too bad. The base is nice and stable, it has a nice, long, flexible reach and angle adjustment; it does the job I bought it for and, although I haven't tried it, the optional 'attach-it-to-a-shelf' mounting bracket that comes with it is a nice, and potentially very handy, touch. It's the 'poor man's Anglepoise' and, let's face it, I could easily have paid seven or eight times as much for one of those! So, all of the above considered, am I satisfied with it? Yes, very much so; and I would happily buy another if I needed one.
