Work well....while they last

Its a great quick way to quiet down the bowstring. However, they just don't last with today's string materials. I've used these on two different Hoyt bows (one with stock 2015 Fuse strings, one with custom BCX strings)...they did deaden the bow well but didnt last more than 50-60 shots on the Hoyt Nitrum before the bottom one came partially off. The one I placed on the upper end of the string held on a bit longer lasting another 40 shots or so before flying off. On the older Hoyt Trykon with custom strings they fared a bit better, going for about 100 shots before eventually ripping apart. I think the materials used while soft and pliable to help deadening, are a bit too soft. They just didnt last for me. I think you'd be better served with good ol cat whiskers trimmed down small.
