The title speaks for itself
1 of 1 found this helpful The photography from the probes was far better than I expected. The narration explained exactly what and why was happening. Jupiter and Saturn were spectacular as usual, but to see Neptune and Uranus in almost high definition really put the nature of each planet into focus. As if that wasn't enough, the best came last. To see the Kiper Beltl Object/ Planet, Pluto for the first time in detail was outstanding. If there is one thing I am most proud of as an American, it is our space program. I vote to transfer all military spending to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to explore the solar system and beyond

Rosewood, the name of the town where all this tragedy happened is ironic.
Rosewood is an eye opening look at Jim Crow America. The fact that one woman could cause the amount of chaos, heartache, death, fear and racial hatred based on a lie is unbelievable. Especially considering it was done in an effort to hide the wounds from her adulterous lover. It was like the entire white community was laying in wait, poised for the first sign of any perceived mistake by a black that would allow their pent up racial hatred to erupt into retribution. It almost seems impossible that this could be based on fact.

Says it all
It tells the life of a brilliant scientist and her husband from their meeting at the Sorbonne through their lives until the tragic death of Pierre. It focuses on her dogged determination to isolate radium
Even as the new element caused radiation burns on her hands, she never wavered in single minded effort to accomplish her goal. Throughout the movie MS Curries genius was revealed on several levels, from the classroom to the lab and her personal life she excelled. It wasn't until the death of her husband that we saw a crack in her armour. But predictably, she overcame even that and went forward with her brilliant career.
