Kids will love this bike and its adjustable lighting feature. I would by another.
There are definitely pros and cons to this bike. The pros are that it's a pretty good quality bike and the lighting has a safety bonus for children. The cons are that the factory assembled parts you really need to check. My two problems where the front wheel bearing assembly was so over tightened the front wheel would not turn. In fact, it was so tight I could not loosen it with hand tools and had to use an impact wrench to break the nuts loose and readjust the bearing pressure. The second issue was much the same but not as severe, which was the pedal crank assembly was way too tight, so the bearing pressure had to be loosed a bit. I also had to replace the pedals because one of those was bound up and would not turn, so I just bought a new set. I would like to think this was a one-off issue because the bike is really cool and the manufacturer had a very creative idea with the design.
