Good product
Very effective in illuminating minerals in glass as well as animal body fluids. I ordered two more to give friends.
Downside is that the batteries are not readily available, had to be ordered. It would be helpful to have that noted in description.

Difficult Start Up
This came with no instructions and no batter, didn't say what type of battery was required. I had to look up other similar to find out. Plus batteries weren't available at local stores, had to order on line and wait.
However, it does a good job of illuminating antique glass as well as checking for pet residue.
