I'm using this with a TM 2000B time server and a 5.5x2.1mm female to 5.5x2.5mm male adapter per vendor's instructions. It works great and my AC adapter count is down one.

Fine Garmin replacement

I am using this for commuting and have not done any long rides, though I don't expect my opinion would change. This is at least as good as the original Garmin strap. It didn't come with care instructions so I am following Garmin's recommendation to rinse it after every use and remove the sensor and wash the strap weekly.
