Versatile and easy to install Application to make more secure door Hinges Metal or Wood
1 of 1 found this helpful As contractor i use this pins when my hinges applications does not have them.
is a security Advance. Anything you can do to delay the act of delinquency worth it. this prevent the door can be taken out if the hinges Knuckle are cut of forced.
is a A must if your doors Hinges pivot knuckle are facing outside.
Unbolt 1 screw on each hinge "leaf" 2 bolts per hinge, install the pin on one leaf and make a hole in the another one, I use a 3/8" drill bit for the hole to accept the pin.
i suggest to alternate the place of the pin on hinges: (2 in door face leafs) and (1 in frame face leaf.)
