Hmmm...

Case seems ok. Cut the padding to specs for my RP and it fits well. My only issue is with the corners on the OUTSIDE of the case; they appear... warped, and not able to form a good tight seal. Highly unusual for such an expensive case. I will be careful the next time I choose a case.

A pity.

Weak ball joint where the iPad's holder meets the top of the arm, causing the iPad to sag under it's weight (iPad Air 3rd Gen.) and will not attempt to tighten the joint any further because it will crack and render the entire device useless! I really wanted to like it. :-(

Well... maybe my head is too big for it, or maybe I should've gotten a larger size, or maybe I should rearrange the padding... either way, the one plastic piece that connects the left rear strap to the ratcheting wheel digs into my head, causing me extreme discomfort, so I cannot wear it. I had to remove the first "layer" of pads just to get it to (somewhat) fit me. My head size is a 23 exactly, and I am rethinking my purchase that, perhaps I should've gone with the next larger size? Thing is, when I served in the U.S. Army, we were measured in the same way that I, myself measured, and It was correct. Sure, I adjusted my pads accordingly, but I never had any issues (granted, it was the older 1st gen ACH/MICH), but I am attempting to embrace the same security and comfort that I had with my OLD one. Oh, well. Maybe other people may have better luck with this product in the future. In the meantime, I will see what I can do with this helmet, since I spent $600 bucks for it!
