I would like start off by saying if I could give 10 stars I would. This is my 1st VP so needless to say I was excited and, boy let me tell you I am not disappointed. Buy this pen!!

This pen is a magnificent work of art! If you love the Raden Abalone finish on pens but can’t afford to shell out $800 minimum? Get this pen!! The fit and finish, and quality of materials is fantastic! This pen is very substantial, and feels very solid in the hand. It’s a cartridge/converter and comes with a Standard International Converter. The cap comes off with 3 full revolutions. It posts securely but the cap is so heavy that I find in back weights it too much. I have medium sized hands and it feels just fine unposted. Mine came with an engraved 2 tone steel JoWo #6 medium nib with iridium tip. After an initial flushing, the nib wrote perfectly, right out of the box. The steel nib is surprisingly springy; and gave nice line variation. Very smooth with little feedback. It lays down a decent amount of ink and never skipped or railroaded. Very impressed. This pen is well worth the retail value. One would think it costs hundreds more.
