Man of the Family, Moody
I knew I loved this book before I got my own copy. The struggle of a widow with five children is told from her eldest son's point of view with fairly light emphasis on the pathos, a great deal of humor and a bit of humble pride of the family's resourcefulness.
As to the physical aspects, the book was as described. The sticky bubble wrapping was a little difficult to remove without damaging the cover but, with a small amount of complaining, I managed.

Thirty Years of Mattel Fashion Dolls
This book includes Barbie, but so much more! Wonderful pictures, detailed descriptions! I identified another "mystery doll" and am so pleased to have this resourse! J. Michael Augustyniak doesn't disappoint!

outstanding book for DiY doll persons
The author provides patterns and fabric suggestions for re-clothing classic dolls from her first book. This is a classic that belongs in your library if you find obtaining old dolls in less than perfect condition ad fixing them up makes you happy.
