The -432 bullet is an excellent Self-Defense bullet for either 38 Special or 357 Cartridges. I have a 4-cavity mold I won't part with, that I use for my 38 Special Ruger LCR. Over 3 grains of Bullseye powder it makes an excellent load with acceptable recoil in a light pocket pistol.

0 of 1 found this helpful I had read this book before - my son has the complete set of these books, and thinks they are the greatest. I am not that enthusiastic, but they are still a very good series, well written and supposedly historically correct. The present book is the first in the series. I bought it for my wife, who is presently about half-way through. The movie that was made of this book, starring Russel Crowe, was well received and very close to the book, a rarity.
