Haynes repair manuals are well worded and easy to understand.
It seems the company takes into account not everyone knows the manufactures lingo and has it worded so a novis can understand it.
Manuals are broken down to repair sections to keep from confusing the reader.
I prefer Haynes manuals over dealer manuals.
Electronic To Mechanical Speedometer conversion GM clip on 1969 up Dakota Digita
Apr 28, 2016
Dakota digital speedo converter
WOULD NOT RECOMEND BUYING.
POOR instructions , hard to understand.
Does not tell you if you stop at 1mile calibration or just push button at that point.
Cable should be longer, to mount in engine bay or some where with enough room (unit is larger than expected)
Unit is noisey
Connected as per instructions, started 1 mile calibration, speedometer needle kept spinning around until it broke the needle off.
Now I have to buy another speedometer.
Expected a lot better for over $200.00.
