Sanyo TRC-8080 Memo-Scriber Standard Cassette Transcribing *PLAYER ONLY*

Please refund my money

This is the third Sanyo transcriber I purchased. They said it worked good. It did not come with a power cord or a foot pedal which I wanted so I purchased them separately. The power cord came today and it did light up when I plugged it in and the forward and back worked fine but when I pressed play I get a continuous ring signal and no voice so it is useless. I would like to return it and find one that works.
